how do i download a video from a website?
copy the page's link, paste it here and press find media. pick the video from the list and press download picked files. if you already have the video file's own link (ending in .mp4 or .m3u8), paste that and it downloads straight away.
can it download a video playing in an embedded player?
often, yes: it looks inside the page's iframes and their player settings for the video's address, including m3u8 streams, which it saves as an .mp4. players that work out the address with javascript while playing can't be read.
how do i download an m3u8 video as mp4?
paste the .m3u8 link (or the page that plays it). the stream's parts are downloaded in the best quality up to 1080p and joined into one .mp4, without re-encoding.
why can't it download a netflix, prime video or hotstar video?
those are protected with drm, and getting around that isn't something this tool does. encrypted streams are refused, as are live streams.
what about youtube, instagram or tiktok?
use the video downloader for those — it's made for them. links to those sites found on a page are listed separately.
what happens to my files?
they're deleted from the server automatically about an hour later, whether you downloaded them or not. only download what you have the right to.
