questions

what does it turn into markdown?

headings (from text noticeably bigger than the rest), bulleted and numbered lists, tables (rows that line up in columns) and paragraphs.

how accurate are tables?

clean tables with clear gaps between columns come out well. tables with merged cells, missing gaps or wrapped cell text may come out as plain lines instead.

can it read handwriting?

no — it reads printed text. handwriting usually comes out wrong.

what's the difference from image to text?

image to text gives plain text with the original spacing; image to markdown also marks up the structure — headings, lists and tables.

what happens to my files?

they're deleted from the server automatically about an hour later, whether you downloaded the result or not. they're never shared or looked at.
